at least one of the suspects came close to being engulfed in flames as the car that was destroyed around 11 a.m..
The arson took place in the parking lot off of 9855 De l’Esplanade Ave. The vehicle, a red 2018 Dodge Journey with the Ontario licence plate BXNL193, was severely damaged.
The surveillance video shows one of the men being blown away by the force of the detonation after a flammable substance was poured into the vehicle.
While arson involving motor vehicles has become more common in Montreal over the past year, incidents that occur during the daytime are rare.

Nellore man rams into six people due to high blood pressure [hypertension]

In a tragic road accident in Nellore, a car rammed into six commuters and a couple of vehicles when its driver lost control of himself.  As captured by CCTV cameras, the vehicle was seen mowing down the unsuspecting bystanders in a sweep until its force was stopped by a three-wheeler.

As per the driver, he had a sudden episode of hypertension, due to which he lost control of himself.  Instead of using brakes, he claims to have used the escalator.

Police are investigating the accident even as the victims are being treated for injuries.

The security guard who was shot and killed during a robbery attempt in Portmore, St Catherine on Thursday, has been identified. He is Lincoln Graham of KingAlarm Security Company. Reports are that the officer was at a business outlet in the Sunshine City when he was attacked and shot dead by criminals who attempted to rob the entity. The guard is reported to have challenged the group of armed men who attempted to conduct the robbery, and succeeded in thwarting the crime, but lost his life in the process King Alarm has since sent out a release condemning the attack. “We confirm the tragic and most unfortunate fatal shooting of one of our dedicated security officers,” said John Azar, Managing Director of KingAlarm. “Preliminary investigations suggest that officer Graham displayed remarkable bravery in the carrying out of his duties, and ‎he sadly paid the ultimate price for his bravery and heroism,” said Azar. “Officer Graham’s heroic actions, in the face of the most adverse of circumstances, no doubt helped to protect the lives and property of others, and he died doing what he pledged to do many years ago – serve and protect,” added Azar. gas explosion that killed three lives and injured 29 victims at CityONE Megamall,Malaysia

KUCHING: Three men were killed after an explosion rocked a shopping mall here on Tuesday (Dec 4) afternoon.
State bomba director Khirudin Drahman confirmed that those killed were two Sarawakians and a Penangite.
He noted that two of the deceased were workers of the Nene Chicken food outlet in the CityOne Megamall. 
The outlet is in the midst of being renovated before its scheduled opening tomorrow (Dec 5).
Khiruddin also said that four other individuals suffered from serious injuries due to the explosion.
“There is a total of 29 victims – four seriously injured, while three were dead. The rest suffered light injuries,” he told reporters at the scene.
The cause of the explosion is still being investigated.
The fire and rescue personnel are at the scene attending to the injured.
In the 3.30pm incident, witnesses say the explosion caused the ceiling at a section of the mall to collapse.
A shop worker known as Niedazaie said she heard a loud sound like an explosion sometime after 3pm.
“It was very loud. At first I thought it was the weather but it sounded too loud. Then I felt some shaking and we were told to evacuate the building,” she said.
A victim, who only wanted to be known as Benny, said he was installing beverage equipment when it happened. 
“The wall fell and hit me. Everyone was in a panic,” he said, adding that there were about 20 people in the vicinity during the time.
