Sonipat: 12 people were killed and seven people were injured after a truck rammed into a car and two bikes in Haryana’s Sonipat on Sunday. As per reports, the truck was being driven on the wrong side of the road. News agency ANI reported that police was present at the accident spot. The accident reportedly took place near Mundlana village on the Gohana- Panipat National Highway on Sunday evening, according to Nai Dunia. 
Local media reports suggested that a cruiser was travelling from Gohana to Panipat and the accident occurred as it crossed the Mundlana village. The driver of the container truck, which was on the opposite road, reportedly lost control of the vehicle, hit the divider and slammed the truck into the car.  The injured had been rushed to Khanpur Medical College and Hospital, as per the report. Senior officials of the police had also reached the spot.
