floating dead body on the Asahan river

Residents of Sungai Dua Hulu Village were suddenly shocked by the discovery of the corpse of a man floating on the Asahan river on Saturday (03/16/2019) at around 11:00.

The bodies of men floating on the river are still fully clothed using trousers, green T-shirts, also using black jackets and bags that are still carried. The identity of the victim known as CH (45), a resident of Bangkinang, Riau Province, is known to be based on the Victim Identity Card.

The police chief of Simpang Empat AKP Raymond Hutagalung said there were no signs of violence on the victim’s body, possibly the victim, and the corpse had been evacuated to H. Abdul Manan Simatupang Hospital in Kisaran.

“There were no signs of violence on the victim’s body and now the victim’s body had been evacuated to the Hospital in Kisaran,” Raymond said.

Raymond also appealed to the community not to go fishing alone in the river, so that if something unwanted happened, someone would give help.

“People who fish in the river should be friends, so someone will help if something happens,” said the police chief. (BY)
